Safety First and Power Quality
Assure electrical code compliance. Eliminate hazards and liabilities caused by faulty wiring. The SureTest ST-1P+ branch circuit analyzer determines the quality and overall suitability of a branch circuit to support electric/electronic loads.

This microprocessor-based product is the only hand-held instrument that measures the effect on a circuit of a full 15 ampere load. Excess voltage drop under load indicated poor connections, damaged or undersized wires that can cause fires. Improper wiring, false grounds, inadequate grounds, and high-resistance grounds are safety hazards. High ground impedance is a safety hazard by failing to provide an adequate fault current path.

Low ground impedance is essential for proper operation of power conditioners, surge protection, UPS systems and sensitive electronic equipment. The Pro+ identifies when the impedance of the ground conductor exceeds 1 ohm.

Dirty Power (undesirable power variations) is directly responsible for electronic and microprocessor-based equipment failures. Many of these failures are attributed to poor wiring and inadequate grounding systems. The Pro+ is designed to assess and eliminate wiring and ground paths as the cause of these equipment failures.

Poor equipment performance or intermittent problems can be caused by excess voltage existing between ground and neutral conductors. The Pro+ displays this potential through the use of a peak-hold detector, and identifies excess peak voltage between ground and neutral. The Pro+ also measures and displays line voltage and exact GFCI trip point independent of line voltage.
